Production Built Around Approved Specifications
Knitvella Sweater is a sweater manufacturer and OEM supplier based in Honghe Town, Jiaxing, China. We support apparel brands, private-label buyers, importers, wholesalers and distributors with development and bulk production.
Our manufacturing work covers yarn preparation, knit programming, computerized flat knitting, linking, assembly, washing, finishing, measurement, pressing, inspection and packing. Production follows the approved sample and written specification. Selected specialized processes or peak-capacity work can be coordinated with qualified production partners when required, with the relevant requirements confirmed for the order.
Confirm the Production Reference
Before bulk production, yarn, gauge, stitch structure, measurements, colors, artwork, trims, branding and packing requirements need to be agreed. Unresolved details can affect material purchasing, programming and the finished garment.
Through sample development, buyers review the proposed construction and finishing result. Required revisions are recorded in the current specification. Changes requested after material preparation or knitting begins are reviewed for their effect on material usage, workmanship, cost and delivery before implementation.
Prepare Yarn and Knit Programs
Incoming yarn, shades and trims are checked against the confirmed order requirements. Material planning considers quantities by style and color, yarn availability and the selected construction. Custom-dyed yarn or special materials may need additional preparation.
Knit programs translate the approved design into stitch structure, panel dimensions, shaping and pattern placement. Typical gauge planning covers 3G, 5G, 7G, 9G, 12G and 14G, subject to yarn suitability and machine configuration. The program and material combination must be reviewed together before larger-volume knitting proceeds.
Knit Panels and Review First Pieces
Computerized flat knitting produces sweater panels according to the programmed construction. First-piece review focuses on stitch appearance, dimensions, shaping, pattern position and visible defects. A pattern that looks correct on a drawing still needs assessment in the actual yarn.
During the knitting process, checks help identify issues while they can still be corrected before assembly. Cable layouts, jacquard color sequences and rib details are compared with the approved reference, together with the relevant panel measurements.
Link Panels and Assemble Garment Details
Knitted panels are linked and assembled with attention to alignment, seam appearance, elasticity and garment shape. Necklines, shoulders, sleeves and side connections need to work with the approved knit structure rather than simply joining the pieces.
Cardigan plackets, buttons, half-zip closures, labels and other trims are applied according to the confirmed position and specification. Assembly checks review symmetry, attachment and the appearance of connection points. Closure operation is checked where relevant before the garment moves through the remaining finishing steps.
Wash, Finish and Check Measurements
Washing, drying, shaping and pressing are selected according to the yarn and construction. These steps influence hand feel, appearance and dimensions, so measurements taken before finishing do not establish the final garment size.
Our washing and garment finishing work is followed by checks against the approved measurement requirements. Garment shape, neckline proportions, rib appearance and panel balance are reviewed together. Any measurement tolerances and measuring methods should be agreed for the order.
Inspect and Prepare Export Packing
Quality checks take place before, during and after production. They cover yarn and trims, first pieces, knitting, linking, finished measurements, shade, artwork, branding and garment appearance. Relevant testing, needle detection, AQL-based inspection and third-party inspection can be coordinated according to the buyer’s requirements.
Packing follows the approved folding, labeling, bagging and carton instructions. Size assortments, quantities and carton marks are checked before shipment release. Our packing and export preparation process connects the finished order with the agreed destination and trade term.
Review MOQ and Production Timing
Standard OEM MOQ is typically around 300–500 pieces per style and color. Basic repeat styles using available yarn may be discussed from about 200 pieces. Custom-dyed yarn or complex constructions may require 500–1,000 pieces or more.
Standard or repeat programs typically require 25–35 days after approval. New OEM orders usually need 35–45 days; complex or peak-season programs may require 45–60 days. Final scheduling depends on materials, construction, approvals and packing requirements.
Send Your Production Requirements
